Step 2 - Attend a Formal Orientation (90 Minutes) Map to CHalleNGe
An Admission Counselor will contact you to schedule. Both the Applicant and Parents/Guardians must attend.
Uniform: Interview Attire: Dress Shirt/Slack/Shoes
Step 3 - Attend and take a Scholastic Assessment Test [90 Minutes]
Applicant must sign up to take the Scholastic Assessment Test at the Academy. Dates will be made available at the Formal Presentation. Uniform: Interview Attire: Dress Shirt/Slacks/Shoes.
Step 4 - Attend a 3 Hour "Endurance Physical Fitness Test"
Applicants will undergo a simulation training into the life of a Cadet at the Academy. Applicants will arrive 15 Minutes prior. Uniform: Sports White T-Shirt, Sports Black Shorts, Running Shoes.
Step 5 - Mentor Selection
A person of Positive Influence on the Applicant is to be explored and selected by the Applicant and Parents/Guardians. A Mentor Packet must be completed by the prospect Mentor and submitted to the Academy.
Step 6 - Selection Board
When all Mandatory Documents are submitted, the Selection Board will review and make recommendations. Selected Applicants will be sent an Invitation to Attend the Academy. Applicants, together with Parents/Guardians, will make a Family decision together regarding attending the Academy. When a decision is reached, the Applicant, together with the Parent/Guardian, will inform the Academy of their decision.
