PRAP

Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP)

During the Residential phase of the program, the cadet and mentor begin a relationship that will help to steer the cadet through the 12-month Post-Residential phase.   In addition, the Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP) is introduced and developed during the Residential phase.  The PRAP is a living document that will serve as a "road map" to guide graduates to a successful completion of the PR phase.

The PRAP workbook will include the following components developed by the cadet:

  • Identify goals
  • Review ChalleNGe placement requirements
  • Examine placement options (Education, Military, Work)
  • Plan for placement after graduation
  • Create community living and fitness plans for after graduation

Success requires personal commitment, hard work, and a clear focus. All goals are written using the SMART GOALS format. Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound.

  • Workforce Oklahoma - Cadets pre-register at Workforce Oklahoma as part of their PRAP activities.  Just use the logon ID & password provided in your graduation packet to complete registration with Job Services at your local Workforce center  -  Class 32 cadets.

  • College & Career Info Links (PDF) - This document provides many resources for financial aid and career information.
