Congratulations!  Out of 200 candidates who started the program 135 earned the status of cadet today. 

Way to go!  These kids have really stuck with it and helped each other along the way.  

Some highlights of the ceremony as follows: 

• Head gear issued to all cadets
• Assigned the first Company & Platoon Guide On Bearers (responsible for carrying the flags):
  • 1st PLT - Cadet Williams, W
  • 2nd PLT - Cadet Allen
  • 3rd PLT - Cadet Ivory
  • 4th PLT - Cadet Lane
  • Company Guide One - Cadet Almanza
• 1st platoon earned the 1st Physical Fitness banner of the cycle. The females are in great shape! GIRL POWER!
• 5 cadets stood out during pre-challenge and earned positive spot reports so they will begin the Challenge phase on Merit Level 5: Cadets Calhoun, Goudeau, Offield, Salizar-Ojeda, & Swafford (way to go!). The remaining cadets start at ML 4 so they can go up or down the merit system based on their actions.
