Mentor Day

Mentor Day is June 21st, 2008and begins at 10:00.

Mentors will sign in at the Counseling Classroom.  Their cadets will meet them there and take them to meet with the cadre, teachers, and counselor as time permits.

At 11:00 the formal Matching Ceremony will take place on the Physical Training field.  Packets will be given to the mentors and cadets.  The packets contain the formal Mentor-Cadet Agreement, the mentor's Certificate of Training, the cadet's Mentor Ribbon, placement verification requirements, and the 'Options Worksheet' from the cadet's Post-Residential Action Plan.

After the ceremony, lunch will be served.  Following lunch, beginning at 1:00, mentors may sign the cadet out for an off post pass.  Cadets must return no later than 4:00.  During the pass the mentor and cadet will complete the 'Options Worksheet'.  The cadets must turn it in when they return from the pass.

Substitutes may not attend in place of mentors.  Family members are not encouraged to attend, this is a time for mentors and cadets.

For those mentors who still have not attended training as required, a session will occur in the morning.  Your Matching Ceremony will take place at 1:00.
