I am also looking forward to the break where I can hold my daughter. I am also concerned that she will not want to go back as she has stated in her letters. I also look forward to hte new photos and found one of my daughter in the classroom standing by the teacher smiling and has this as my desk top as well. I am so proud of her for making it this far and hope and pray that she will return. I know this is the best place for her.

Cadet Smith's mom

I haven't checked the board postings forever and so glad that I did.

As Cadet Hess' mom stated I too am worried about the upcoming break.
My son has expressed anger and frustration and just complaining in his letters to me. The other people that he has written have received funny, insightful ones, aren't I lucky?

I am trying to change, because hopefully he will come back changed. I will eliminate the pampering and give him the opportunity to step up things here at home. We are also trying to plan things and keep things going on at home or with the extended family while he is here, especially since he'll have homeworks. I am worried that if he goes and 'hangs out with friends' that it could jeopardize his status at OYCP and that it the last thing that I want to do.

I am praying for a thoughtful letter, but we'll see......
